Door adjustment

Is the misalignment also at the hinged end of the door, or does is grow worse as you move toward the latch? If it is the latter, door sag is common on these car due the long, heavy door.
It sounds crude, but door sag, in most cases it can be corrected by opening the door, grabbing the end with two hands and simply heaving the door upwards.

Guh-wow! That do sound crude, but I have to say I've been really stressing looking at what it might take to get to those blasted hinges. I figured one or more generously proportioned PO's had been using the door as a crutch to get in and out, but long door/sagging makes sense. I'll gladly give the old heave-ho a try. Thanks!

I've never had the problem with the Jag.
When we owned our collision repair center back in the 70 & 80's that was one of the easiest adjustments.
i actually took a jack with a wood block and pushed it back up, worked like a charm.
