Happy Christmas
Best wishes to everyone for the Christmas Holiday. May we all have a healthy and joyful 2026!
... and it would be nice to see a few more posts than in the last few months!

And a Prosperous New Year to all who deserve it!
I'm sure I can put a few more technical queries on here in 2026 - I'm always struggling to keep up with all the bits and bobs that need doing on my old '66 S Type as it's in regular use..
I still haven't sorted out the horn button issue, or the overdrive. The coolant needs topping up weekly, carbs need tuning again and the new steering column top bushes are squeaky and a bit notchy. .I'd really like to fit a tow bar but just keep looking at the lack of fixing points under the boot floor and then glancing sideways at my MIG welder and the lengths of steel angle leaning up in the corner. So much to do and so little time!

Same to you, Peter, and everyone on the forum. I really appreciate all the help over the years.
I hope to have a running and driving car in time for the Pittsburgh Vintage Gran Prix week in July. Jaguar is the featured marque and Mr. Ian Callum will be the Grand Marshall. He will be spending a lot of time with the Jaguar Club of Pittsburgh while here. There will be a huge focus on Jaguars this year. I realize that Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is not very convenient for many of you, but it will be worth a visit if you can find a way.
You have inspired me to make a new post for the (almost) new year. I'm going to get started on that now.

I don't quite understand the 'before' bit, Jeff. I meant to just exclude the tight wads who don't stand their round, those who make millions from ripping off us poorer folk or those closer to home who have done there level best over the years to take advantage of my generous nature.
