Jag MK2 spare parts catalogue, pub. # j34 missing stuff?
Hey folks, just got a new copy of this book, and there's a few items I cannot find;
Front and rear engine/gearbox mounts.
The Service Manual, pub. # e.121 calls out two different g-box springs for manual w/od and automatic, but I cannot find either...nor do I find the front engine mounts.
I stopped looking, as it was causing my brain to hurt, so somebody please, please show me the error of my ways.
I both thank you, and apologize if it turns out I'm a hopeless moroon. (yes, with two O's)
...and while I'm asking for favors, I have purchased a spring, p/n C45902/1, unaware there were two different applications, and I have a manual w/od car...did I get lucky?
Thanks!

With springs available today I have found it trial & error to ensure no fouling of the tunnel. I have an Auto spring on a Manual/OD transmission. All works well. Counting coils is a disaster. Gear lever nicely centered in the console. No fouling anywhere. And don't leave the split pin in the shaft hole of the rear mount. It is for assembly ONLY.

Front engine mounts have become one of the items where there's a lot of doubtful quality about. Rob Beere sells uprated mounts for road use that cost a bit more but don't fall apart.
Please note that the split pin and washer are for assembly purposes only & should be removed once everything is in place. DO NOT LEAVE THEM THERE ~ REMOVE THEM OR THE REAR MOUNT DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY.
Hey thanks everybody....turns out that I was able to properly navigate the catalog after all...
...and you're all so nice to not suggest I need to pay better attention while reading.
...and yes, I'd already read the caution regarding the installation pin - I can only imagine how often untrained mechanics have caused a lot of wasted time.
