Default Jaguar MK2 Starter

Hello everyone
My question is how to adjust the Starter stop screw to have an efficient starter behaviour.
My best regards
Gérard

I used that method before I found the description in the link. After tuning the starting carb in the UK, the car started and ran OK in the UK in the winter and in Italy in the summer. The only shortcoming wasn't in the tuning, but the usual problem that my temperature switch eventually gave up.

The whole 'Nostalgia' website is beautifully done and worth reading. And no, the Peter, who produced it all, isn't me.

I have to adjust mine between summer and winter. It is only a couple of turns either way but the winter setting is too rich for the hotter summer days. I have an override switch on the dash for my AED but I also have the Otter switch connected in case I forget to switch it off. In the summer within a couple of minutes of starting I turn off the AED and the car runs fine. Can't do this in the winter until the engine is warmed up and the otter switch turns the AED off.
