I have replaced both license plate lights as well as the boot light and they all now work. My question is what is the large light that's in the middle of the clear license plate housing? It has what looks to be a green with maybe red tracer feeding it.

 

Back-up light I believe.

 

Confirming that is the back-up or reversing light.

 

That was my only thought but I have no wiring running to the gear box?

 

Is it an automatic or manual?
Automatic reversing light is incorporated in the gear selector column switching.
Manual is on the gearbox
