Default Mark 10 Indicator Stalk

Hi Mark 2 Forum,
it was suggested to me to ask in here if anyone knows how or where I can get an original/new/operating secondhand indicator full assembly as my 1964 3.8 Mark 10 is having major issues working.
9 times out of ten when I flick the lever for a Righthand Turn it drops and turns itself off. Very annoying if at a roundabout as I have to hold the stalk so as not to cause confusion to other drivers.
I would love tp purchase another one but it needs to be a working model.
Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can lay my hands one one.
My 1964 Jaguar Mark 10 is a original Right Hand Drive car.

There are frequently NOS ones on eBay UK. I have a complete new assembly for my S Type that I keep as a spare. Perfect shiny stalk and all. They are the sort of things that go wrong on a 60 year motor car. The plastic parts deteriorate in the sun & the springs break.

Yes I found on eBay UK. You might have to be patient but they come up often.

They cover a broad range of cars. Jaguar tried to use as many common parts as possible on our old girls.

Your car uses the same steering wheel as mine so reach would be the same.

Very early cars used this mechanism. You would have to remove the column shroud to see which yours has. I've never seen this used later than 1963 build.

See picture. The plastic spring breaks but is available. They are not sideded. Both can be used on either side of the column.

I'm presuming yours is self cancelling. There is an older model that did not self cancel but they are from the 50's

Don't only search MkX. Some E Types, 420's, S Types etc. used the same unit.
