Mk1 with disc brakes and steel wheels?
Help!
I have a drum brake late mk1 chassy that I am building and a disc brake parts car. The parts car was going to be my building chassy, but the rust looks like it will be just a bit over my head. Plus the drum brake car is already painted nicely.
I'm trying to figure out how to/if its possible to not have spoke wheels and still retain the disc brakes. From what I'm looking at, it seems like it will be possible except i seem to be missing wheel hubs for the rotors and wheels to mount on. Has anyone done this before? Am i doomed to settle for wire wheels if I want to keep my disc brakes?
(I have already spent over $2500 at white post getting all the disc brake parts refurbished)
Is there a disc brake hub that I can use from another car? Like a Mk2? Mk IX? Have the spindles from the parts car cut down to fit the steel wheels? I'd hate to do that, but maybe that is the only option? I'd like to have disc brakes on the front and rear...
Any advice would be appreciated.

Since I see no response from someone more qualified, I'll share what little I know.
I have a 1960 Mark II with steel wheels and disk brakes, so I know they work together. I just don't know how different a Mark I is. Sorry that isn't much help!

While I am no expert either on the MKI, I did something similar in my 3.8s. My car used to have spoke wheels with knock off's which is way to grandpa for me. You can call Terry at Jag Outlet (800) 706-5247and he can provide all of the parts needed either new or used to convert it to a normal 5 lug setup. He also can provide the parts to convert it to Wilwood disc brakes and possibly other disc options.
What I did was to convert it to 5 lug, then I measured the wheel wells with the offset tool so I could find out the widest wheels I could stuff in the car. I then went to Complete Custom Wheel and ordered a custom offset 17" x 8.5" set of rims so now the car is running 245 wide tires on all four corners.

It should be very easy to fit disc brakes with steel wheels; my Mk1, like the vast majority of cars made came with steel wheels and it also has factory disc brakes. You may have to source different hubs with the bolts for the steel wheel and discs.
