Hello from Norway.
The rubber seals are getting brittle from 12 years of sun and rain, small pieces are now easily breaking off.
Many suppliers sell these, can someone recommend a pair that fits (almost) 100%, i.e. "as good as it gets"?
It seems that the door panels need to get off to get the quarter window frame out - or is there an easier way?
Best regards, Anders

Reason: Misspelling
I replace mine last year. Yes the door panels need to come off and the frame removed. Pretty straight forward, just mind the existence of possible shims between the window frame and door. The factory manual covers it ok.
I purchased mine from either Moss or SNG Barratt as I am in the states. They fit okay, but not without some stretching. Use lots of lubricant to get them to snap into the channel. I used soapy water. Also make sure all the old hardened rubber is out of the channels.
Of course "while you are in there" you should evaluate the condition of the felt inside the window frame for the roll up window. Also look at the felt strips, the inside and outside scrappers, that are attached to the door frame that the window rides against as it goes up/down. Parts are available. All this should keep one busy. Good luck.
I'm also in the USA and obtained mine from SNG Barratt. I was able to replace both seals without removing the frames from the doors but two things to note:
- it depends how easily the pin comes out,
- don't drop the nut and spring inside the door!
