Default Model 85 Lucas turn indicator for 64 MK2

I was able to locate a new nylon spring and a rivet and have that part of the assembly back together. However, when I loosened the two slotted screws that hold the plastic electrical connector to the aluminum bracket and then started to separate the two pieces a small bright copper colored spring popped out. I have all of the remaining springs in their proper places, but I don't know where the spring that popped out goes and I don't understand what function it serves. Can anyone help?
Thank you!

maybe it is for the flash-to-pass movement of the stalk?

Jose,
I suppose that is possible, though I don't know where it would go. I will look at it again.

if it is the flash-to-pass return spring, if would be mounted horizontally, (front of car to rear of car), because when you pull the stalk to flash, the stalk needs to go back forward to its "neutral" position.

if you observe carefully, you might see markings where the spring was.

Here is a link to two photos that show the spring in question and the turn indicator. If anyone can tell me where the little spring fits I would appreciate it!
