My interior is almost done and I have searched for a week on Google, Ebay, etc. and nobody makes floor mats with the Jaguar logo. There used to be a place on Ebay autoetc but I contacted them and they non longer offer mats with the Jag logo.


I have found a place finally that sells custom made floor mats with the Jaguar leeping logo and the Jaguar name below it, Jaguar Upholstery, Seats, Carpets, Interior Panels, Convertible Tops, Floor Mats, Headliners and Other Trim Accessories from World Upholstery and Trim


enjoy and in the next month or two you should finally see the final pics of my Jaguar as I expect it to be done in two months

I called them and told them I have a 1965 Jaguar 3.8s and they said they would make the matt so I will let you know once I get it. There are matts for the Jaguar saloons but none of them offer the leaping Jaguar logo other than this place.

 

I told them what you said and they thought there were not many MK II's around and I told them there are many early saloons from MKI, MKII, 3.8s, 420's etc. and that they should list those models as they thought people would just call and ask for models not on their pull down. They do make matts for all of the saloons and they are the only one I have found that provide Jaguar leaping logo

 

here's a dirty little secret I decided to share:

the 1988-1994 XJ-40 has the same floor dimensions as the 1963-1968 'S' type.

During the XJ-40 days, Jaguar made very nice optional accessory RUBBER mat sets with the Jaguar leaper logo impressed on the rubber.

One day I pulled a front pair from a salvage XJ-40 and found the passenger side XJ-40 rubber mat fits perfectly in the front passenger side of my 1965 S type. Amazing fit!

The Driver side mat fits the same way except the rubber needs to be trimmed at the point where it meets with the accelerator pedal.

Barry, you're welcome. I don't know if the MK-2 has the same front floor as the S type, the only way is to try the mats for fit.

you might look for a set of XJ-40 rubber mats in Jaguar dealers, some dealers might still have unsold sets of 4 mats. I understand they came in sets of 2 front only, or 4 front and rear.

NOTE: the Rear XJ-40 mats do not fit the 'S' type floor unless you trim them a lot. The mats were originally made by Cannon, a UK company.

Here are pics of the mats, they really look nice. Again they will do any year Jaguar and one of the only companies now that will do them with the Jaguar leaping logo!

the only thing is that the leaper emblem is not period correct for the S type or the MK-2, the Growler or the Wings were the emblems of that time. THe leaper emblem started with the XJ series.

You should ask them as they were the only whom would make them with any logo you want. For me I wanted the leaper and not the period correct for my personal preference. Even if they do not have your model on their pull down menu, just call them and they will likely make it for you. I am very pleased with their product.

Not sure but I just picked up new front mats from them and these are nicer as the bottom is rubber type material with pointy spikes to stay firmly in place. The quality is very nice and again they will make mats for any Jaguar.

They will make whatever you want so do not worry if your exact model is not listed as they did my car which is a highly modified 1963 3.8s and due to some of the mods I did for speakers I sent them a paper template and they made custom matts that match my pattern and put the Jaguar logo, etc. I wanted.
