Default Picnic table wood removal

Hi,

I'm trying to remove the wood from the picnic tables in my MK2.

I have removed the table, then the four screws along the back but can't then see how the wood comes out.

It looks like I might need to remove the ball bearing catches from the front of the table but i'm not sure how to do this without damaging them.

Has anyone done this?

Yes- you have to remove the ball bearing catches. Good news is that they just pry out, and should come out fairly easily. I used a small screwdriver and pried them up along the edges. They just seem to be press fit into the holes.
