Roncons
Hi all ,I am new to this forum, I have jaguar mk2 1963, it's had a complete rebuild nut and bolt!,I have fitted su hs8 carbs, they have been rebuilt except for the main jet , new needles ect, am finding it running very rich, I have fitted a manual choke conversion, but engine will not weaken off enough, my thoughts possible main jet holes worn! But.......
What car did the carbs come off ? You can buy the correct jets and needles for your car from Burlen Fuel Services in the UK. Note also that if you have leaking floats, or worn valves in the float chambers the fuel level will be wrong, (too high). Any evidenc of the carbs flooding ?
