Default Sills for 65 S type

Both my LH and RH sills were rusted through. I ordered the sills. The LH was a complete u shape profile while the RH side only had 2 sides. I ordered the correct part numbers. Does anyone know is there a different number for a sill that has a u shape profile compared with what I have received. The one I have is missing the top side ie. were you would stand on if getting in the car. Martin robey sent me a photo of what is in stock and they only have 2 sides

There used to be two types of sill, one is the U shape which is the full sill and the other is just the bottom and outer face which was fitted as a quick and cheap repair when the cars were in everyday use..

You should be able to get the full sill for both sides still. Have a look at SNG Barratt or David Manners websites.

I spoke to David Manners. They buy from Martin Robey panels. They believe you can get both the 1/2 sill and the whole sill. Unfortunately Martin Robey don't think they sell a whole sill
