Default Steel wheel options for a '59 Mk!

I'm out of town right now, but when I get home I will be taking delivery on a '59 Mk1 3.4 automatic. Right now t's riding on 30-year-old bias ply tires and the original steel rims. They look good (wide whitewalls), but they are 30 years old. And, they are bias ply. Obviously, one of the first things that's gonna happen is getting the car re-shod.

What are my options (if any) for more modern, easily attainable rims that I can use, with tubeless tires, on the car.

Thanks,
Pete

Clearly the tires have to go, but what is wrong with using the original steel rims? I am running my steel rims from a 1960 MkII with tubeless tires.

Thanks for the reply. The care and feeding of this car is all very new to me. If it was a Sprite / Morris Minor / MGA / Magnette I probably wouldn't need to do any research. As I said, this one is new to me and I want to make sure I get things right. So --- there's a good chance I will be asking more questions. Please bear with me.

Thanks,
Pete

Lots of info here about tire sizes.
There are white walls available in a 195/75 15, but I can't remember the supplier _ it's in the US.

Here it is here.

I went with these Michelin XAS tires for my 340, nice and tall and narrow period tires.

Coker tires has all kinds of neat tires, and would be a good source if you were looking for period correct or wide white walls.. www.cokertire.com

Lots of other options if you go with narrow white wall or black wall tires.
