Default Sticky stuff in the interior

I'm starting to put down Hushmat, a thick black elastomer, into the interior and just placed an order for a Dynamat bulk kit attempting to give this desert car all the advantages I can.

As I peel back some of the original jute that I want to save I realize I'm going to be needing a lot of 3M spray adhesive.

Does anyone have an opinion regarding that stuff? A better option or a source for a case of it?

As an aside. the Coolaire guys in Miami stuffed this thing with the standard pink fiberglass insulation found in every house. It's in every crevice and smashed flat under the carpets. A valiant attempt but I hope I can do better. At least on the flat surfaces, the crevices can well exploit all the insulation stuffed in there

yute is yute, pink insulation is bad for your lungs, you should remove it all.

yute is available from most all Jaguar interior suppliers. Best to remove the old yute and start with new, it is not expensive, It is a material also used in sofas and chairs, you might go to your local Joann's Fabrics and see if they have it.

I have found spray adhesive to be useless. But maybe 3M is better than the stuff I tried.

Almost finished with my interior refurbishment. Replacing all the trim is a chore, and I think I'm on my 3rd tin of contact adhesive ! The gel type adhesive at least restricts the mess.

There is a Jag guy on ebay selling this foam product. If you are not going for all out originality, it might be of interest.
