I have recently had a T5 gearbox fitted into my Mk2 and the garage that did the conversion have fabricated a new rear engine mount to sit the gearbox on but in my opinion it is sitting far to low. The gearbox came with a mounting bracket that I think could be connected directly to the existing mount but for some reason they didn't want to use it.
Has anyone else had a T5 gearbox fitted and if so what type of mount was used.
