@sov211 Stunning!!! And the white walls give it's 50's design (really more '40s) a '60s feel to it.

I had "white stripe" Michelins on my 1970 Mercedes 250/8; at the time they looked appropriate to the styling to the car. They looked awful on a 230/250/280 SL, but the ones on the dealer showroom came with them stock... The "hot setup," tire wise was of course a "red stripe" on your GTO. Later on came the raised white lettering for a faux race car look. Yes, I am old...

I grew up in Vermont and in the '60's a lot of cars came with white walls. However, they were considered far too "iron-city", and everyone just had them flipped. Besides, they made cows dizzy.

I believe "fugly" may be an appropriate word to use for those whitewalls.
