Hello All,

I wonder if anyone could recommend a good insurer in the UK for a Mk2 Jag? I've been with RH for a couple of years, but they've recently been taken over and the service I've had trying to renew has been dreadful. Each time I call they tell me they need to get the underwriter to call back, which doesn't happen - so I've spent two weeks trying to get insurance, to the point where now it's expired and I'm going somewhere else.

As ever - knowing someone else has had a good experience is great, so and suggestions welcome!

Is it classic insurance that you want? Have you tried Carol Nash? I haven't used them for cars but had no problems with bikes.

I also use Peter James. They are good when you need them also.If you are a member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club, you will get a discount but you need to get an agreed valuation of the vehicle.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions - very useful. I ended up with Adrian Flux on the recommendation of a friend with an old fiat 500 - they were very helpful, and it came to £100 fully comp for me and my dad.
