encountered this gorgeous 1967 MK II in its natural habitat during my morning commute & got to chat with the owner briefly at a safe speed (had never seen one of these) wow what a coooool vehicle
Thanks for the response, Jagboi64. I just perused that entire (massive) thread. Thanks for sharing! SO IMPRESSED with his work! If that individual is the one who I interacted with on Highway 280 (in Northern California), that’s awesome! He wrote something about Southern California cops giving speeding tickets though, so I don’t know…? And maybe the driver did tell me it was an 63, I’m not sure. This was months ago, I just kept forgetting to post my encounter. Anyway, it was SO COOL to see that gorgeous classic on the road. =)
JeffR1, that’s fantastic. Sounds like he’s (very rightfully) enjoying his time behind the wheel. =)

Yep, that was me How could I forget such a car enthusiast in a black Jaguar giving me the thumbs up and trying to talk as we are on the freeway As I said on your other post, I plan on going to the San Mateo Cars and coffee in a few weeks March 19th 9 am to 11 am; let me know we can meet before on 92/Skyline before or there if you are free. There are usually 100 or so cars from Ferrari's, Lambo's, Porsche, classics, and sometimes some really rare cars like Bugatti supercars or custom rides.
JeffR1, yes I am loving the rebuilt LS1 now that is is stroked with forged internals the power is about 500 HP and that to me is the perfect amount of power for the saloon.
Ahhhaha, that was me! =D I’ll be shocked if you tell me that people don’t ask about or comment on that gorgeous vehicle of yours all the time. As I wrote in the other thread, I was already super excited about seeing it on the road. I’m now IN AWE of the tasks you’ve completed with that car!!!
I just joined MeetUp and signed up for the SMCAC event on the 19th. Thank you for informing me about that! I’ll message you in a few minutes.
