WTB 340 Turn Signal Switch
SNG Barratt and others stock them, but they are not cheap. The cost depends on how much you need, only the lever or all the switchgear. They turn up on eBay, but beware the design changed over the years.
I purchased a new overdrive switch. After about 3 months it literally fell apart. SNG were really good and gave me a full refund. I had (of course) saved the old switch so I reconditioned it and I think it should now out live me. The moral is if you can refurbish do it. The aftermarket parts are often of a much lower quality.
There used to be a repair kit for the MK2 turn signal switch. I wasn't cheap costing about A$15 twenty years ago. It had a couple of plastic parts and some springs.
From memory I repaired about 3 MK2 cars turn signals and a similar number of MK1 turn signal switches (which are quite different)
Kevin Baker my local source for these repair kits has long gone to his maker and I have no other access to these parts.
It might be worthwhile to chase down the source of these repair kits.

Good point, if you have the ability, a lot of things on these can be disassembled and cleaned or rebuilt. I have rebuilt the turn signal in mine a couple of times once I found the internal parts were available.
