Turn signal dilema
Ok...what happened!?! My turnsignal switch had broken (my fault, I admit it...) I bought a replacement and wired it up. Nothing. No lights, no turn signals, no hazard flashers. fter following 3 or 4 differeing wiring diagrams everything came to life! I was SO happy!! However, when I slide the assembly over the steering column and tried it again...nothing....only the emergency flashers worked. No signals, and the headlights work only after 5 or 6 highbeam flashes. BUT NO SIGNALS! I cannot get them to work again.
What happened!!???!!!

Did you check the fuse?
Power for the regular turn signals come from the hazard switch
Besides that, the contacts in the hazard flasher switch often develop corrosion from lack of use. Sometimes a bit of vigorous (but not...um...violent) exercising of the switch will restore function.
