Ferlito Motors has been racing Jaguars in the Superstars series since 2004. Starting off with an S-Type R, before moving on to an XF SV8.

In 2006 & 2007 it was an official "Jaguar Dealers Team" before returning to Ferlito name.

2007

2008

Davide Rigon, 6th in the points standing in 2008. Car no. 2



Alessandro Cicognani, Alessandro Balzan, Francesco Iorio, Claudio Melotto, shared drives for Car no. 3 in 2008. No points.

Ermanno Dionisio, 22nd in points standing in 2008. Car no. 2 for 2 races.



2008 was the last year that the STR competed, being replaced by the XF SV8 for the 2009 series.

I know there are hundreds of photos of these cars out there. This should be a place to collect them all together, as well as any other information about the cars & teams during this period.

 

Awesome pics and post! What I like is that they actually used the factory wheels in some of those races. I don't think I have seen a racing team do that before.
