I cansee you have already found your way to the X-Type tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome to JaguarForums.com - and with a Jaguar model to match mine.. lol - Norri & Graham have pointed you to some great locations here for all the help you are likely to need with your project. If you ever have anything you are unsure of please just ask - we are a friendly bunch and will always try to help.. there may also be Jaguar meets in your area where you can meet up with some of us and put names to cars..
