Default 1991 XJS Convertible

Hello all,

I'm just here because I'm helping a elder gentlemen neighbor with his Red 1991 XJSC with 40K miles on it located in Sanford, FL, just outside Orlando. His power steering started leaking (no surprise there) and now here I am hoping to gain some knowledge and at the end, he will let me cruise in his jaguar without me having to invest more than time, stress and bruised knuckles.

I do love these jags, and one day I hope to get my father an E-series but until then, I'll work on my neighbor's car and cruise around in that with the top down.

Happy Motoring!

Welcome to the forum Jaghelper,

I'd best warn you straight off, you will eventually end up owning a Jaguar. They are addictive.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xjs-32/ to the to the XJS section for help and advice.

Even though it's not your own XJS, please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Please also visit the Lower Atlantic US Region section Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in Florida.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Well, I've always been addicted to their beauty and do plan on having one at some point when I have a little more to spend on hobbies. ;-) Maybe XJS Coupe 6.0, or something more classic...

Welcome to the forum jaghelper,

Good to have you with us.
Skin for cruises, that sounds fair.
Enjoy the forum.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome, I like the plan, use it without the expense of owning it! An E Type is something to work towards...

Thanks for the welcome! And I'd love to work up to an E-type (I mistyped and you can't edit on this thread). Though I might have to go the "easy" route and have one with a 350 or similar motor so my father and I can enjoy it more often and worry more about keeping it pretty.
