Angry 1998 Jag XJR

I have had this car for 13 years. It is on engine number3 and gearbox number3 and apart from timing chains and tensioner replacements, it is now going well. I do however have a new problem having spun the wheels on a wet road and now have permanent messages of "traction control failure and stability control failure" and the ABS light is permanent as well. The local dealers have recommended a new ABS module which is extremely expensive and although the "lights" are on there has been no effect on the handling of the car. Is there perhaps a simple solution to this problem?
