Hi Mark and welcome from a fellow S-type owner! There's lots of good people here with knowledge they love to share.
The best place to ask tech questions is in the dedicated area that Graham has already pointed you to, but the turn indicator lamp holder is a known weak spot. The electrical contact points between the lamp and socket are far too small for the load they carry and easily burn or erode away. Do a search and you'll see some decent work arounds.
