2000 XK8 - Convertible hydaulic line replacement
I purchased my 2000 XK8 in Sep 2012, it had 13k original, 1 owner miles. I have had problems with it going into Fail Safe Engine Mode and Reduced Performance, and Track not Available, but the biggest problem I am dealing with right now is the hydraulic lines on the convertible top. We purchased replacement lines off of eBay and my husband took great care to replace them (based on a lot of information from this Forum, thank you!). However, after adjusting the pet **** on the hydraulic pump yesterday, now the engine won't start. Lights are on, windows go up and down, but the engine will not start. Is there a sequencing that he may have altered? We live in Mount Dora, FL and would appreciate any help on this. The car has been down for over a month now and I would really like to get it back on the road for convertible weather!

Karen - Welcome to the forum - plenty of info and support here as you have found. Hopefully it is something as simple as some wires disconnected during the replacement of the hydraulic lines.
