Default 2000xj8 vdp New to forum from Maryland

I have a 2000 Jaguar vandenplas, and have been driving around for the past month with inoperative driver window and sunroof. I did'nt want to think of the repair cost because i believe there are at least two modules in the door to check. I visited this forum as a guest. read a post with the same issue, followed it's instruction to simply place the negative battery cable to the positive post for several seconds and WOW!!, everything works. Thanks,Thanks,Thanks
