2008 XType Gearbox Fault

2008 XType Gearbox Fault
Hi. My 2008 XType (diesel automatic) started showing Gearbox Fault error. It goes into safe mode and now there is a light dragging sound when it drives. It has been happening for a few days, more often then not. Any experienced this? TIA!!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
