Default 2012 evap vent solenoid

Hi;
Garage tells me sub frame has to come off (7 hours) to replace evap vent solenoid in my 2012 XJL. Any way around that?
Thank-You

Welcome to the forums moosie5757,

Either it is true or they don't want the job and are trying to put you off or make you pay through the nose. I'd be getting my hands on the Workshop Manual to find out exactly what is involved in the replacement and then working out if I could do it myself.
