Hello all. I imported a beautiful Jaguar from Singapore through TradeCarView on line. Long story short, the vendor lied and I have big problems. I need to replace the automatic transmission and the vehicle also needs a new suspension module as the back right is very high and the front left of the vehicle is very low. Transmission: Local repair shop gave a price that is about what I paid for the vehicle and they wouldn't give me the part number instead saying all I need is the VIN. I'm looking for some pointers on how to search for replacement parts being on a small Caribbean island. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
Good to have you with us. Sorry to hear about the problems with your import. The dealer is correct in saying all you need is the model and the VIN to identify parts. JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) is categorised by model and VIN range:

Hello,
I'm sorry about your sucky experience with online car purchasing.
It seems you can't trust anyone these days, especially when there's a lot of money involved.
I hope you're able to get the car properly sorted so you can DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF!!
