3rd Jaguar, New Member.
Hello All, my name is Dan.
My wife has loved Jaguar cars all her life and my dad owned them in the fifties. The first we bought in 2001, was a used 1999 Van Den Plas. We had the car for 9 years and loved it, what a smooth ride. The second Jaguar is a 1997 XK8 convertible which we purchased last year. My wife really wanted an XKR convertible, but we could not find one in our price range. Last month I got on Ebay and bid on a 2002 XKR, 31K miles, and surprise, won it. I flew out to Chicago and drove it back to California for a road trip, now it has 33K miles on it. I found out about this forum doing research on XKR's.
Thanks Dan

Welcome, Dan. I, too, blame my wife for my Jag in a round about way. She was gently pressuring me to buy another car. I bought a Jaguar. Not quite what she had in mind, but I love being able to say - You told me to buy it! Have fun and be safe!
Cheers,
Scott
