Hey guys, I finally got my first Jag home yesterday! I'm in New Zealand. It's first date of registration was 25th Feb 77' so it was really cool that she got to celebrate her 40th birthday with new owners!
She hadn't been started in a couple of years so fresh oil and filter, fresh petrol, a couple of leaky fuel hoses replaced,, cranked her up and purrrrrr! A nice quiet smooth motor to my delight! She needs the breaks overhauled, the pedal pumps up a little.
So much to do! Can't wait to get her road legal.

Welcome.

Well done.

There will be a 40 year "to do list": that you will work through, and then the next list be ready to go. Its a lifetime love affair.
