Whatcha say fellow Jag-u-arians!!! My name is actually William Ricks. I live in the Atlanta area and recently purchased a 1989 Jaguar Vanden Plas (my first Jag) that I hope to restore.
At the moment I am having a problem getting it started. It will turn over but will not start. Starting fluid will start it but not for long. One suggestion is that I clean my Mass Air Flow sensor. Will try that. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I will keep everyone updated as to my progress. Right now I just want to hear the 'Black Kat' run!

Welcome. I have a 90 VP. Get a manual on that thing. I have worked on my own cars for 30 years. Nothing like a Jag. They are fun to work on, but the search link here and a book will help you a lot quicker to get to your issue(s) then chasing will.
