!983 XJ6 Color
The door sticker on my '83 XJ6 says "JDM" which is "metallic cobalt blue"
Obviously not. Ideas which color this qualifies as?
Paint color is plainly original..

Welcome to the forum Jimmysea,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Very strange, The 3 letter codes for all the shades of red from that era start with 'C' and shades of blue start with 'J'. Probably the only ones to sort that mystery are JDHT (Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) who have all the factory records for the period.
For more regular issues, follow this link XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ6 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

My guess is 'CEE' Cranberry
If you're 100% sure the car has never been repainted then the only other explanation would be a mistake on the sticker.
Does the code for the interior trim seem corrrect?
Cheers
