hey guys im james from panama, its a pleasure to be part of this forum, you guys have helped me in a few nightmares with my new 1999 xjr.

Now its time to actually thank you guys formally and become a active member, i just recently got a 1999 xjr with the green plate for recall! from a friend for a really good price, and i mean good price.

with 93000 km the car had burnt the intake just a little bit, because it was leaking oil from the valve covers, i just got done with the drivers side, i see no oil drippin but i see smoke i hope its from old burnoff, and i am working on the passengers side tomorrow

The transmission feels strong but throws a gearbox failure with yellow light mostly when downshifting from 3-2 but she doesn't go into limp mode, i just get a warning., nor can i feel it. in the rear end i hear a clunk wen letting go or pressing the accelerator, dont know if ujoints or tranny or rear end.

I am looking at a modified valve body from ipt, i am ordering all bushings from front to back, i was thinking of polyurethane or go stock? i got "smart suspension" also. hence i have been following avos i have great interest in his kits, and i am going to follow his steps with a twin screw, if you read this avos pm me for info..!

mostly i would like to get some support in getting the service manuals complete, and any little info would be greatly appreciated, i do all the work on her myself. and same for my other cars.

best wishes to all and thank you for everything!
