After many years of drooling....
I finallybought a Jaguar yesterday[sm=happybounce.gif]! I like them all so the exact model wasn't too imperative butI ended up getting a 2003 S-Type R with low miles. So far I have only put on about 50 miles and I love it so far(the gas needle is moving quick though[sm=smiley23.gif]).
I still remember seeing the S-Type for the first time at the NA Car show in NYC back in '98. There was this huge crowd around this car that was on a rotating platform. Everyone was standing there so quiet, I just had to go take a look. I squeeze through and find a sparkling light yellow S-Type. All I could think waswow (and I really don't like yellow cars)!
I plan on keeping this on for awhilebut I think my next car will be an XJR or an XKR or maybe an XK8 or an XF....[sm=headbang.gif]

S-type R? HELL YEAH! Good choice, but I hope you didn't buy a yellow one. LOL! Be careful with that gas pedal though, because on the R you can easily creep that gas mileage down into the 6-8 mpg range.

lol..nah, mine isgrey. I hear you about the gas pedal. I plan on taking it easy but for now I am doing some"supercharger research"[sm=badbadbad.gif]. I must say it sure is the ultimate commuter attack vehicle. If someone doesn't want to let you in their lane, just overtake them. If someone cuts you off, those brakes will save you.[sm=hail.gif]
