Default First Jaguar after years of Infiniti's and other stuff

Hello to all. I am a new member with my first Jaguar. I recently purchased a 2014 FType V8S and have already posted a picture in the Ftype section. It's white with a red convertible roof and red interior. Great black 20inch wheels and just a beautiful horsepower monster. I just love it.

If anything I have to fully agree with Jeremy Clarkson's review where he said the Ftype was an "engine in the front, drive to the rear and a big smiling piece of meat in the middle"! After a week I am still that smiling piece of meat.
I live in south central Pennsylvania just north of Baltimore. Spend my Saturday's at Cars and Coffee in Hunt Valley and now I have a real reason to be there. After 30+ years of driving Saabs, Volvos, 6 different Infiniti's and a Mercedes SLK 250, I've finally gotten a car with real power style and class. The looks and comments are just staggering. Looking forward to many years of happy motoring and I'm sure a ticket or three.
Attached is a photo from Hunt Valley this Saturday. Hardly anyone even looked at the Lambo!

Welcome.

You should see the "smiling meat" of an XJ-S driver. Get that smile wrong and the beast stops dead.

Welcome to the forum Mbourne,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.
