From Alberta XJ8
I've been playing with Jag's since the XKE's of the 1960's doing such delightful chores as changing their rear brake pads and starter, learning zillions of new four letter words as I toiled. My current Jag is a beautiful, well loved 1999, XJ8 that is now is now approaching 195,000 kms (about 120,000 miles). I do most of my own maintenance on my kitties, subject to the limits of my frustration and vocabulary (#%%&*@^#). For all of it's life, up until this winter, it has been a purrrrfect kitty. This winter, a particularly mild one, has brought out the gremilins. I intend to keep this car for another several years. It's those gremlins that caused me to source this forum.
