Default ancient explorer

hi everyone,
I am a member of the omegaownersforum. I own a 2.2i, 2.6 v6,
2.5td. I used a 2.5v6 omega in the 1990's as a government chauffeur. in my view, an excellent motor, and much underestimated. I owned a mk 8 jaguar in the mid 1960's. I now have an interest in buying an s type. I would appreciate any views, that you informed gentlemen have on the most reliable s types to go for, (ie: year) regardless of engine type. any views would be much appreciated. have a nice people.

Welcome.

Lots of advice in the S Type section.

I have had toooooo many Jags, but the 2 V6 3L S Types we now have, are on their own, although when they first appeared on the market down here, we looked at them with mixed (more negative) thoughts, as we both had V12 beasts, how wrong we were proven to be.
