Hello everyone, new member here.

First I want to thank everyone for contributing to this site, helped me a lot already.

I got myself 2003 XJ8 base, and find having a Jag very entertaining :-) I love the ride - very smooth. People compliment... nice!

I bought it somewhat on an impulse and car surprises me with something every day. One day wiper went on when rain started - surprise, I have a rain sensor! Another day - adjusting right mirror up moves it left :-), or heated seat lamp works - but seat stays cold. For each of those surprises I already see that this board will help me.

With the help of this board and a local mechanic I already managed to replace front wheel bearing and I am a proud owner of that socket from Sears that fits over ABS nut (anyone is welcome to borrow, I live in NJ Paramus area).

Welcome! 2003s are different depending on what country you are in.Is it an X308 (steel body) or the X350 (aluminum body)?

I am in USA, pretty sure it's X308 steel.

 

In that case search under my username for a thread called "seat heat solved". It has lots of details on getting the heat working.
