Another Texan has joined the Jag club.

I live just outside of Houston and am looking forward to reading more about these beautiful cars. I anticipate that when I'm not out enjoying my new purchase, I'll be here learning more about it. Coming over from BMW's and Audi's I'm very unfamiliar with Jaguar and have a lot to learn. Thanks in advance for the replies I'll receive to the questions I ask and apologies for all the questions that make long time owners roll their eyes.

All I have at the moment is some poor quality cell phone pictures but I'll make a point of getting some decent pictures taken and posted.

Welcome to JF, Humble. Glad to see another Texan. You'll most definitely want to make Brutal's acquaintance for later when your warranty expires.

The XF must have made all the Jaguar dealers around here very rich because I see them every day, day in and day out, there are a helluva lot around here in Cheshire, UK. I had a drive of one last year at a dealer presentation, and was most impressed. Pretty much everybody buys the 3 litre diesel because of car taxation. Diesel fuel costs a bit more but it is possible to get 40 mpg, and the annual road tax is much less, plus the tax on the company car users is much less too.

You may find the sat-nav a bit problematic, this being the only real issue I have read about with these cars here in the UK.

Enjoy your car !
