'Evening all (or morning or something depending on where you are in the world )

I have just joined this forum but I'm not entirely new to Jaguars. My current stable consists of:

1) XJ5.3C. Engine blew up recently, otherwise an original low mileage concours car: After a period of hibernation I fired it up in -20C and condensation (smoke) camouflaged the fact that two injectors were wide open pouring fuel into the oil. Big end knock. Moving it back to hibernation recently awaiting a new crank something in the block knocked and wanted out So if it is engine out time I think a 5-speed manual conversion is on the cards as well.

2) XJ-S V12 '90 Lovely car but surplus to requirements so be sold.

3) XF 2.7d Ah, this is the way to travel

I look forward to finding gold nuggets of info here, and hopefully giving some help to others as well.

Welcome to the forum.

Nice stable, sorry to hear about your knocking though.

We have a few members in Norway, nip into the Regional section.

Welcome to the forum,

Ouch! that had to be a bad feeling.

Maybe you can do a write up on your repairs. :-)

Welcome to the forum. Yep quite the stable, bummer about the blown engine. Sounds like a fun rebuild though.

Enjoy all the site has to offer!

Welcome Per. You just posted a picture, in that exact color combo, of the car I dream of. Please get her back running.
