Default Auspuff introduction

Hello my name is Auspuff.

I like doing introductions about as much as eating mushy peas. Yuk.

This is a fantastic forum. I don't know how much money I've saved yet from reading this but I'm sure enough to buy a new car. Or mushy peas for a month.

I bought a Jaguar XJR X308 version in 2003 almost new. It was a 2000 model with low miles from main dealer here in Dubai, UAE. Had been in storage for a couple of years. Paid about a third of new model retail price.

My most memorable driving moment: Finding a new road without no speed cameras and no traffic and attempting to discover if there really is a speed limiter on the XJR.

Now after doing 150,000 km in 10+ years I need to do a bit more maintenance than just getting the oil changed ...

Welcome to the forum Auspuff,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the other Areas Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/other-areas-43/
to find other members in the Middle East.

The reason we ask for Location in user profiles is so that members can give relevant advice. Please amend yours. It doesn't need to me more specific than country if you wish to conceal your actual city.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
