Battery question
Hello I am new here but I have a question.
Does anyone know if I an use the same car battery for an X type and an XK8? Would it fit both cars or would the one from the X type at least jump start the XK8? Best place to get one?

Do you have a running X-Type and a non-running XK8?
There's a recommended procedure for jump starting Jaguars to avoid frying sensitive electronic components. Tell us a little more about the problem and you'll get the right advice.

Graham has basically nailed the answer.
I would get a battery for each car, the correct one obviously, and a battery minder/tender for the little used car.
As to suppliers, that would depend on where you call home, might pay to add that to your signature.
