Bluetooth to existing system.
I just purchased a 2004 xjr with all options
. The phone system is installed but I want to convert it to bluetooth. Does anyone make a simple conversion for this to adapt to the stereo system.
Welcome,
Congrats on your new XJR.
Check it definitely does have a phone system installed. Phone buttons on the steering wheel and the audio front panel don't necessarily mean the rest of the components are there. I'd have thought a 2004 model with a phone system would be Bluetooth enabled but the guys on the XJ350 section will be able to advise.

Jaguar went through a variety of Motorola handsets with bespoke software before finally implementing Bluetooth. Best bet is to post a photo of your holder on the X350 section and the guys there should be able to identify the phone it goes with.
The easiest solution would be to source a handset and divert your own phone to it if your service provider allows this option. I did this with the last Jaguar saloon I had (an XJ8L) rather than replace the standard Jaguar audio installation.
