Default Bob XJS new member intro

Hi Y'all,

Over the years we have owned a few Jaguars. The 1st was a 1963 Mark II, automatic, wires k/o's, Bright Red over Dark Red with Tan interior(3yrs). The 2nd was a 1969 XKE rdstr, 4sp, Maroon, New Tan Hydes & a Black soft top.(5yrs) The 3rd was a 1982 XJ 4dr sedan, Black, Tan Hydes, automatic 6cyl, alloys. (4yrs) The 4th is a 1994 XJS, 4.0, automatic, Champagne, Creme Hydes, Chesnut Hartz cloth top.(14yrs so far) We purchased it in February1998 (1 owner) with 15,800 original miles, it is complete with all books, tools, keys, jack & original spare never down. She took us a year to find, we drove back from San Antonio, Tx to Spring, TX with the top down, windows up and heat on full. there are 33084 miles on the odometer today. We live in Boerne, TX with our XJS.

Sounds like you bought a peach of a car, well done ! Sometimes I wonder at how some cars never seem to leave the garage after original purchase. You'd think having spent all that money the first owner would want to tour around a bit

Welcome Bob. It sounds like you have a great history with Jaguars. As you can tell, we'd love to see some pictures.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your interest and note. You were on my list to contact. Up to recently we have very busy, mainly traveling. I wanted to post some pictures, however could not figure out how to post multiple pictures. Also, I do have a couple of tech questions. Do I just send the questions in a thread like this one?

Thanks again, BobXJS

Dear Full access member,
just a quick ote to advise of forum activity.

Recently, we have many new members from both far and wide, with a healthy new contingent of UK members, as well as US and Canadian based.

There are forum vendors offering great discounts to members, helpful tech posts with both full write ups including pics as well as video fixes.

As someone who perhaps hasn't visited in the last 90 days and has a post count of 3 or less, maybe you'd like to drop by and see for yourself?

Best regards from JF

Jim
