Hello, i'm a new member from suburban CHICAGO (ABOUT 30 MILES WEST).I recently purchaced a 2002 x-type , its silver with white interior.it does have kind of high mileage (150,000) but is in good shape for a 12 year old car. i bought it from a friend who was moving to florida and couldnt take it with him, and sold it to me for a price i couldnt pass up.i have been fixing it up for the last several weeks, as it sat for about 2 years. in his garage .looking forward to hearing from others with similar model ,thanks.

Welcome to the forum brivs19,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Several members here have high mileages on their X-Type so it isn't anything to cause particular concern.

Follow Steve's link to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
