Default Cat Virgin in Virginia

Excuse my sic sense of humor. I am looking into an 87 XJ-S V12 that has been restored and looks nice enough to mess with.
I'll be looking for guidance if I get involved.
I'm fairly handy with my Chevrolets and even a MB E500 I managed to keep alive.

I know going in this cat will be a losing proposition and if the price of admission aint too steep I'll be ok with that.
I'm almost through restoration of my 1972 Corvette, I have a nicely done 1969 Malibu, and my favorite is a little 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
The Cherokee is a rescue 2 door 2WD with the 2.5L gas engine and the 5-speed manual transmission.
Keeping it alive is a bit dicey at times.

Welcome to the Forums.

My words from way down here.

1) You have sense of humour, you will be fine
2) 1987, Pre ABS, whoopee.
3) They are SIMPLE cars, only made complicated by overthinking.
4) Never ever trust the previous "fiddler". YIOU are now the caretaker, and working quietty, systematically, ALWAYS thinking utside the square, and it is that simple.

A new bigger beer fridge is part of the deal down here, your call on that.,

Heaps of Stickies at the top of the XJS Tech Section.

Good luck.

Hello,
First off, a Jaguar is NOT a Chevy or Benz.
Some things about it you'll look and say, "What the BLEEP were they thinking?!"
Other things you'll look and say, "What a good idea!"
For sure it will give you Loads of entertainment, and your wife/significant other will Always know where you are.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
