My name is Cameron. I've had my 1990 XJ6 (base) for about a year now and until about 2 weeks ago, I haven't had to do a thing to it (other than regular maintenance of course). It was a rare find, and I got lucky. More info about the car in my "garage". I am a MI state certified Auto Mechanic, but jags are a whole new animal for me. I'm glad to try and help anyone however I can, and all help is appreciated as well.

Certainly a lucky find although 'nothing to do to it until two weeks ago' sounds ominous. .

Is it a Series III or XJ40? (both marketed as 'XJ6' in 1990!)

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
